After being out of town the past few weekends, it's been nice to be home for this one. Of course, we are totally missing Pops, Kiki, Uncle Adam and Aunt Sha-Sha - and not just because they keep an eye on the kids! I do hate that we're missing out on family time - we are missing a wedding reception and a wedding shower for my cousins. It's hard to not be a part of those times, especially since I don't get to see my extended family nearly enough. I really wanted to be there, but Pat is going out of town for a few days tomorrow and I just didn't want to add to the stress of it all by driving 4 hours and having to deal with the kids by myself, on top of having to get everything ready for the start of the week.
To get my mind off of what we are missing, we tried to fill up the time with fun stuff.
We went for walks and Evie looked for Easter eggs in October...
We went to the store to buy paint and ended up looking at Christmas decorations...
We decorated pumpkins...
Mitchell bounced for the first time...
Daddy and his boys watched some football...
And Mitch tried out some new food!
